Only positive was, that nobody got injured, the McDavid goal and Skinner's strong performance, despite "letting" in 5 goals.
So many mistakes on the oilers leading to a billion break-aways and of course, almost no 5 on 5 action…
Let’s admit the only reason that arena is at full capacity is because of McDavid.
That was not a highlight goal. McDavid should have gotten a penalty for grabbing and lifting the defensemen's stick.
I'm actually curious, how come it's not against the rules to grab another player's stick, like he did there, to pull it up and let himself in? I'm not opposed to it personally, but considering all the other random rules the NHL has, I'm surprised this one isn't on the books.
