  1. McDavid at this point in his career without a stanley cup shows how difficult hockey is now in the modern era. Also imagine McDavid not having won a single cup

  2. I love hows always like "eh, I did what I'm paid millions of dollars to do, no need to celebrate. I'm gonna go sit down now and drink some Gatorade"

  3. This was only pre-season, this McDavid guy won't be able to produce like this when the games mean something

  4. That's gotta be in his top 10 ever, and Sportsnet somehow doesn't cover preseason games like any of the other 3 major NA team sports. Fail.

  5. So glad a game came to abby, i was withing less than a foot of woodcroft and saw mcdavid up close, it was pretty electric

  6. It's a beautiful set play:
Defenceman waits until Connor is in almost full speed than full speed.

  7. He’s a hell of a player offensively no doubt. His defensive skills are lacking however. That’s a fact.

  8. A fugly game through and through.
Only positive was, that nobody got injured, the McDavid goal and Skinner's strong performance, despite "letting" in 5 goals.
So many mistakes on the oilers leading to a billion break-aways and of course, almost no 5 on 5 action…

  9. I'm actually curious, how come it's not against the rules to grab another player's stick, like he did there, to pull it up and let himself in? I'm not opposed to it personally, but considering all the other random rules the NHL has, I'm surprised this one isn't on the books.

  10. It’s almost like it’s a video game & McJesus has the most expensive gaming PC and everyone else is on Xbox 360
