[Marc Antoine Godin] Des problèmes de hanche persistants continuent de hanter Paul Byron. Si cela continue, la réserve des blessés à long terme pourrait être la prochaine étape.
Persistent hip problems continue to haunt Paul Byron. If this continues, long-term injured reserve could be the next step.https://t.co/MoQtrV4Uw0

Damn. If that’s the end of the show for Ti-Pol, what a run it was honestly. One of the proudest Habs of the last 20 years. Great man, teammate and underrated AF as a player. Everything we want Pitlick to be, Byron was. One of the great waiver claims in NHL history.
Fucking sucks, I remember when he got back from his hip surgery he was so happy to feel good again, and then it came back 🙁 I just hope that he wont have issues for the rest of his life.
On t’aimes Ti-Pol!
Fuck, i love Ti-Paul…
Bad news for him, he’s on a contract year.
Good news for us, if he LTIR, we save 3.4 millons or so.
I just truely hope that once his NHL carreer is over he’ll be able to live a painfree life.
Sucks for Paul if he has to retire. But man was he an integral part of the 2021 playoff run.
His playoff shortie winner in game 1 vs TOR in 2021 is in my opinion one of the greatest Habs goals of all time. Then he got a takeway and setup Kotk for the OT winner in game 6 vs TOR.
Had his best series against Vegas with a couple of goals (including one game winner) and a couple of assists (including that amazing assist on Anderson’s OT winner).
Probably our most consistent player over his time here. Don’t think he ever had a bad game.
had a feeling this might be coming after MSL mentioned at the end of last season that Paul was still struggling with pain in the hip.
mad respek for the man. i would love to see him on the rush for years to come, but i hope he does whatever is best for him
Thank you u/galaxy91122
Meh.
He’s a bottom line player who is in the final year of his contract.
Such a great player, and overcame disadvantages with pure speed and skill. Man’s a less accomplished Martin St Louis. He deserves a cup for the performance he put on in the Cup final run
