Damn, I thought Milano was going to be a steal. Too bad it didn’t work out.
Big Z said “pack your bags Sonny”
I’m ok with this, neither of them looked good imo 🤷🏽♂️
Good. Bring up Matty P
Hopefully this means some of the guys who got sent down get a chance, Phillips, Klapka and a few others looked pretty good
I think this should be a reminder to not get panicked about a player signing a PTO with a team. For the most part, signing a PTO is kind of like scrounging through the clearance bin at your local store; most of the time you don’t get anything but occasionally you see something that is a great value.
Ok, Now announce the Stone contract already.
Still have one PTO. I predict that our Lord Scorch will announce the signing of the chosen one MIKE STONE at 2pm.
Honestly kinda glad they didn’t sign. We definitely need the space to sign Weegar
Not surprised. Neither were very impressive. Milano will be in Europe before long.
Milano looked really uninspired and unhappy to be here, too bad it didn’t work out. More opportunities for younger guys though and I love that, as well as some cap flexibility going into the deadline
So now I need all of you to take at good look in the mirror and ask yourself « Did people predicting this fate, knowing Zegras is what made Sonny look good, really deserve all those down votes »
The Milano situation is bizarre. He should be a middle six forward on an NHL team but things just aren’t working out anywhere for him lately.
It seems like a coachability issue that even being reduced to a PTO didn’t end up fixing.
This was expected when sutter said “we had to send down some guys who played better” I knew neither of these 2 where getting signed at that point
Not surprising at all.
