I personally think devs go with somebody younger like Timo or just an absolute superstar like Hubby by trading severson and bratt
To make a super team u need stars on good contracts like Tampa and Colorado. We have great contracts like siegenthaler, Hughes, and Nico, let’s not mess this up with a miller contract

if you are going 1 for 1 deal i would prefer jesper bratt. he was close to a point a game player and is 5 years younger than miller. vancouver has been a bit of an nhl destination for swedish players and i think the canucks could extend him.
I love how literally everybody just assumes Miller is now a consistent 99 pt getter and is gonna ask for 8-9 mil, guy has a family that’s got just as big of a say where he signs as he does, not to mention his 99 pts was a fluke because he was switched to centre and drove all the offence on a bad team, guess what that’s not gonna happen again what are the devils gonna do put Jack or Nico on wing and Devils fans out there or any other fan base that’s hearing there teams in the Miller talks I’d be way more worried and against this The Canucks are asking for an insane return for a guy that’s a UFA next offseason, all this 1 for 1 crap is bs there’s a reason Miller hasn’t or will be traded
