Geerts had a better game than most of the guys trying to make the big club lol
we iced an AHL team and played like one. kinda crazy
Clarke looked good. he’s tied for 2nd in preseason scoring for us BTW
Clarke and Zetterlund made good impressions.
I get he hasn’t scored but Holtz’s play in all other areas has looked very good this preseason
He’s positioning himself well with out the puck, he’s playing strong on the boards, his skating is a lot better, and he’s not afraid to block a shot.
If he keeps this up the goals will come. He can score and he will.
I don’t think he should get sent down

My takeaways from The Final Audition:
1.) Holtz not making the team would seriously call into question the coaching staff, imo
​
2.) McLeod will be the 4C
​
3.) Bahl will be the 6D
​
4.) Okhotiuk is violent and…not great at hockey. At least, he’s not ready for the NHL at any rate. He should not make the team.
​
5.) Nemec will be very good in the AHL but he needs to be there for a while.
​
6.) Boqvist did himself no favors. Can easily see him getting cut, especially if they keep their favorite toy around (Mason)
​
7.) Clarke is the first callup for a top 9 injury.
​
8.) Mason Geertsen makes me want to rip my hair out.
Mason Geertsen gives me hope that I can one day make the NHL.
I for one am very excited to watch Mason Geertsen play 4 minutes a night 38 times this season
