  1. Hoping for the best next season. I am excited to see how this team plays!

  2. A lot of Flames fans talk shit about Tre, but I think the guy deserves way more credit than he gets, never afraid to pull the trigger on what he feels is the right move at the time… Hanny and Lindy, and now Hubie and Weegar, they're fkn stacked on D, and there's plenty of talent throughout that lineup and in the system… if Mony can return even part way to form, and with the likes of Pelletier, Ruzicka, Mackey, Zary, and Phillips ready (or near) to make the jump, and Wolf, Poirier, Whynot, and Coronato waiting in the wings, this team is in a heckuva lot better shape long-term than some people think 🔥

Edit: If by some miracle Tre could land Kadri, it would put them over imo. Gonna miss watching JG and Chucky, but Hubie/Kadri > JG/MT

  3. FACE IT. NOBODY REALLY WANTS TO PLAY IN CALGARY. YOU NEED TO DRAFT LOCALS. ENJOY YOUR ANGRY PLAYERS.

  4. I think what the Buffalo GM did with Tuch is something that’s going to be more important. Get players that want to be in the city/team.

  5. Clearly a couple of unhappy former Panther player right Brad

  6. Treliving was handcuffed and kicked in the face, what he's done here was the absolute best with the terrible hand he was dealt.

  7. As a life-long Panthers fan, I was pretty sick when I heard we traded Huberdeau. Apparently the team didnt even contact him to find out what his contract demands would be next year or to try to sign him to an extension, first he heard of it was when it was a done deal. He's grown into a once in a generation player, and his 115 assists cannot be made up and you'll see the Cats struggle to score next season. We also lost Giroux and Charriot and gave up 2 x future #1's for what turned out to be 3 month rentals…Ugh. Weegar can play very solid, but then he gives up bone-head plays that cost us 3 games in the Playoffs all by himself. Flames definitely made out.

  8. Johnny should have been this forward with the flames. Not waiting till the day before free agency, that was just dirty on Johnny’s part.

  9. Need some Canadian players exactly like Lanny McDonald,Jim Peplinski, Theo Fleury, Joe Nieuwendyk, Doug Gilmore etc.. and some Calgary home town hero's like Mike Vernon, Cale Makar. We have a winning formula from 1989, we just need to follow it!

  10. As someone’s that’s been here since the saddledome was built. God we need a new arena. Calgary tries to compare it to Maddison square garden cuz that’s old as well but has actually been renovated every 8 years

  11. I have always enjoyed Tkachuk and Johnny Hockey, but get their "American @$$3$" outta here. Peace.

To me Matthew Tkachuk was only good as a Flame. Now he's gonna wither away wherever he's going. Johnny Hockey only performs when there's something in it for him as an individual – That's how he "earned" this trade then used family as the excuse. Dude was never fully a Flame.

The Flames will be fine without these two. I'm no longer a Johnny Tkachuk fan whatsoever. Phúqué them.

  12. It seems like the big T wanted to beat up Tkachuk LOL. Like, "who the phúqué you think you are? cya… next."

  13. Could not get a total count on how many times Treliving said…….uhm, uhm. uhm, uhm, uhm. uhm, uhm, uhm. uhm, uhm, uhm. uhm, uhm, uhm. uhm, uhm, uhm. uhm, uhm, uhm. uhm, uhm, uhm. etc, etc, – he might want to consider some lessons in public speaking…..UHM!

  14. Fantastic press conference, well done Calgary management. Smart, honest, direct, detailed….refreshing to see more than canned responses

  15. So why did Tkachuk want out of Calgary? It seems to be a poor reflection on the Flames management.

  16. H U B E R D O M E on the range 🦌

Played his cow chips purdy descently, all things considered.
It's short term, with both Huberdeau & Weegar being UFA's next year.

  17. "Do you think Tkachuk leaving was a result of losing Gadreau?"…. "Well um, mumble…mumble….mumble…mumble…." Hahahahah, oh boy!….. sorry Calgary but your man's a knucklehead, never an excuse for losing a superstar for nothing

  18. Trade, buy and sell is business; and negotiating is a very hard and complex business. I believe that Treliving did the best that he was allowed to do. From a fan standpoint, though, loosing Gaudreau and Tkachuck — especially after a great season, when they were so brilliant — was a terrible blow, mainly because they seemed to value our community and Calgary so much. For the sake of elegance, I will not say to them what many Flame fans feel. Finally, I am curious to hear what Sutter has to say about the new team that he has on his hands.

  19. the libtards fukd up the travel in and out of the country….blame trudope for nobody wanting to be on a canadian sports team ….
