1. First time I'm not agree with you. Clarke over Holtz? McLeod is a faceoff machine he's a great 4 center if you judge him like a 1 rounder or top9 player of course you have a case on him. Regards bro I hope this is the year finally!

  2. I haven't been able to follow this pre-season as close as the last few. How many spots are really up for grabs at each position currently?

  3. IR Nico (Again) and Beriner. Starting lineup: Center: Hughes Mercer Haula Mcleod. Wings: Bratt Sharagovich Palat Tatar Holtz Wood Bastian Zetterlund. Spare: Boqvist Greesten. RD: Hamilton Severson Marino. LD: Siegenthaler Graves Smith Bahl. G: Vaneck Blackwood. Waive Johnnson and hope he's claimed. If Hotz is sent down Keep up Clarke. When Nico is healthy waive Greesten.

  4. Great video!
It's gonna suck if Holtz gets sent to Utica but it might have to happen. Not sure about Clarke, though. I was really excited about him when he was drafted and what he did for the 67s, but where do you put him?
I just hope Nico is ready for opening night.

  5. I see Johnsson being sent down and if nobody nabs him on waivers, then he will end up either getting dealt to another team for a late pick or just ride out his contract. He's dead weight that doesn't add anything to the team other than being a good dude that the players like. I can see McLeod being sent down, too, due to the controversy he's involved in. Holtz will very likely be on the starting roster. I think he showed more than enough to earn a spot and given a chance to try again in the NHL. Clarke is probably headed back to Utica but I can see him being brought up to fill spots due to injuries when need be. Zetterlund and Boqvist will get those last spots until Fitz can figure out what to do with them. Personally, I would try to trade Boqvist because he's got a lot of value as a prospect but he makes me feel like he's another Zacha: plenty of potential but not quite showing it consistently. Zetterlund fills a need in being a guy who can contribute to point scoring but is a moose who can knock guys around. The bottom six is just as crucial to the top six and he would be a solid 3rd line guy.

  6. Holtz is a complimentary player and if he isnt playing with elite play-driving players like Jack then he is gonna be invisible. I dont get why this coaching staff insists on setting him up for failure. He's played with jack 1 game, and they dominated with Palat that game. Holtz is reminding me of Palmieri in Anaheim before we traded for him, he is either top 6 or in the AHL. No in between.
