COMPLETE UNAACCEPTABLE AND I LIKE FITZ I REALLY DO. However the goalie we drafted is GARBAGE. When asked about him he said and I am STILL in shock "I never saw him play, I trust my people." Well I have seen him play for two years…he has NO lglove hand…the "No 1 goaliue in North America is very misleading because IVAN ZHIGALOV of the Sherbroke Phoenix who is MUCH better…may have been born un Europe but he played the entire season in the Q. I would have taken 3 goalies in the WHL before Brennan. OMG….I am livid. So in the 4th RD this is what we could have done….@ 102 (Brennan) draft from the RED DEER REBELS (my favorite team in the WHL) C/RW 6'3 190 BEN KING who had 105 points last year ….we could have drafted him, still have taken Orlov (GREAT PICK) and then Hauser. Then we could have selected IVAN ZHIGALOV and KIRILL SAMSONOV (my beloved CSKA Red Army) Samsonov who directed the team to the Reguar Season Championship and fell in GM 6 to SKA for the Kharlamov Kup but they did not lose because of Kirill…he played his heart out and was amazing. We did not have to wait for the drat he was 19 and we could have just signed him. For some reason he was not drafted again this=is year ..we could stull sign him. Now from the same team we drafted Artom Barabosha and our fans are going to LOVE HIM….he takes NO SHIT on the ice and is a real "blood and guts" type Defensive D man. Daniil Orlov is a another Stay at home D man and takes no shit. WHEN YOUR GM SAYS ABOUT THE KID YOU DRAFTED "I NEVER SAW HIM PLAY, I TRUST MY PEOPLE?" THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE Oh yeah sorry kids Vanacek is NOTHING special. We could have had ALL the D men we drafted, 2 goalies better than Brennan and a 6'3 thick center who with 105 points…
I would have said it was impossible, but Fitzgerald single handedly killed any enthusiasm for next season. A month ago I would have said the Devils are going to contend for 1st in the division. Now I think they are contending for 1st pick overall in 2023.
Just me, but someone who stammers as much as Fitzgerald does to answer these questions, is not tell you the truth, the whole truth, or knows they are guilty.
