my take with kk is this, he had career highs while playing career lows on the 4th line last year, now he will get the chance to play with svech and necas so I think that he will be fine, or if he dosnt do that well necas or drury can take the 2c spot. that being said, i agree the KK isnt the best option out there for a 2c.
It all depends on if Necas and KK can rebound after a mediocre season and if Svech and Jarvis can take some steps forward. That being said, this team has done so well by spreading the scoring throughout the lineup and not just from a small handful of superstars like some other top teams. I'm feeling really hopeful about this season! Go Canes!
Good review. I agree that Burns should have his game elevated (or back to form) playing with Slavin. He has a couple goals preseason so far, although it really means nothing. And yea, Vinny leaving is tough but at that price/term it made sense to not sign him. Unsure about the cup finals but hopefully they make a great run.
Trochek being gone is gonna hurt. Burns is old Grey balls and Max is a band aid now.
