Can you guys please soon address the lawsuit involving two senators? I know you have mentioned you want to wait for confirmation, but with Robert Thomas saying he was not involved, that leaves only two players as the 1999 born players in the lawsuit. I'm tired of seeing sens twitter project the top 9 with said players. Whether it was consensual or not, it's messed up to do that to a drunk girl. Also the fact that Hockey Canada is using money they get from minor hockey registration from kids parents to pay for these lawsuits. It's gross.

They are a bubble playoff team, 7 – 10th. But they could get a div berth though if all things go right.
Florida picking up all the Sens trash. Balcers, Del Zotto, Tierney, White. And don’t forget Duclair is still there. Even though he’ll be out a while.
I actually expect the Panthers to take a big step back. I’m not saying they won’t make the playoffs. But I think they’re more of a wild card team now. Tampa and Toronto should be in the top three in the Atlantic. Third spot is potentially up for grabs. Gonna be some fighting this year. Boston, Florida…. Ottawa? Detroit will be better. Buffalo still sucks. Montreal still sucks.
If Formenton and Batherson were involved in the Hockey Canada scandal that could push us back even further than we were. If we drop both of them because of it, we probably made all of these moves for nothing

I don't think the Sens need a superstar top 4 D. I think they just need a solid consistent defensive RD that can replace zaitsev and his contract. A guy that can play the 2nd pair in a consistent way.
We have a playoff roster but the east is just so stacked wouldn’t be surprised which ever result happened
We need the D Man if we are to compete at that level and make the playoffs. Last year it was goaltending and our defense was the problem. So in order to really move forward, we need a Top4 D-Man.
Im wondering if the leafs will make the playoffs. I would not be confident as a leafs fan with their goaltending. A first round battle of ontario would be awesome.

I think we should trade for Noah Dobson or trade Future Considerations back to the Leafs for our third rounder this year. Then the offer sheet for Dobson would work at 6.5 -7. I like what ive sean from Sean Durzi also. 4 mil and the secornd rounder would get him. kings are cap screwed… Dobson and Durzi are studs lets get one.
Not without the back end sorted. Even then, challenge is a good first step.
They shouldn't feel rushed to get a RHD until they see what they've got in Lassi and JBD. I wouldn't buy too high this year since next year they'll be even better.
Ross!!! When you pointed out that as it stands right now either Zaitsev or Hamonic is your top 4…I threw up in my mouth a little. Took the wind out of my sails a little. And Pilzy said that the Sens will be active at the trade deadline, but honestly, we can’t wait that long. After two years of being out of the playoffs by December we can’t wait until the trade deadline to make out move.
I honestly don’t think we can make the playoffs with Hamonic or Zaitsev in the top 4. Love the forwards, but league average goaltending (hope I’m wrong) and 3 serviceable D doesn’t cut it. We can’t outscore teams if we are hemmed in our zone.
Don't be so quick to write off the Islanders. They failed to complete their home barn on time so ended up on an extended roadie to start the season, some injuries and never really recovered. Its still a good team. before all is said and done I think they can make the playoffs.

Their in the playoff hunt, they still need a good top4 D. Without bringing a defenceman your really banking on Sanderson to be as good as advertised and one of Thomson/JBD to make that jump and contribute. To many variables for a team wanting to be in the playoffs.

I think we need a right d in order to eat up minutes so Chabot is not playing 25 -27 a game . You cannot play any guy that amount of time and expect him to be fresh for the playoffs.

I know this isn’t LOSP’s most recent vid but I have to call you out Pillzy for voting to give Anton the opener. Not that I have anything against the Berg, but think of Talbot – he wants to be the #1, his feathers may have been ruffled in MIN for not being given the message he was their guy. He IS our guy now, gotta walk the walk, and that means Cam gets season opener. Either way, love the pod, great insight and content from you both. I’d have to go back to 07 to remember a time I was this excited about our group.
I'm surprised Zaitsev hasn't been moved. Correct me if I'm wrong but his salary is a lot less than his cap hit, isn't it? Being a right side defenseman, I'm surprised a team hasn't picked up that risk on him as a project. Zaitsev, Branstrom and a first for Chychrun?
Just catching up on eppies, If the boys can catch chemistry right off the get go and the goaltender duo could be a little better than average to make up the holes in our D, we should make the playoffs.
