Name me a great staff that won consistently with little talent. We just don't have the horses right now and the easiest thing to do is blame the staff. In two years we'll be taking names. We may have to hit the portal hard for one more year. Freshmen studs on the way, but it'll take time. C4L

Really disappointing start
I stand behind Coach Cristobal; I saw nothing but improvements and a game that we could have easily won, but again is the little things that would get you out there.
Mario should just do the Post Game disappointment speech Pre Game so it can be replayed after the game while he and the players go home and prepare for next week's loss.
We still look like one of the slowest college teams on both sides of the ball but at least our receivers stepped up and did a better job…..when I am on the goal line my QB is under center and Franklin is my running back
Let’s give this man 4 solid years and then judge his body of work. Those who want to get rid of coaches after a handful of games will make this coaching position undesirable.

I love the enthusiasm however the oc and the dc are horrendous and need to go back to high school football we play no cover 2 no mic zone schemes and they pick us apart. Offense doesnt control the line of scrimmage and we do not show our dominance in any way coaching on skills and technical ability is awful. They have to get these boys to play somehow which unfortunately at the end of the day falls on the coaches. im sure theyre a great staff this is not miami football we didnt need to take a step back especially with how we treated manny and we did just that; cant happen this season is a wash already which is a shame. We need to get more juco dawgs and recruiting up to par cuz these boys dont cut it top to bottom.
Despite the losses Mario is keeping it real. But at the end of the day this staff needs to find a way to win. They are getting paid a ridiculous amount of money.
Move James Williams to Middle LB on 2nd and 3rd down and let him learn the process.. our lb packages suck

We were one play away from winning that game, after losing by double digits to a high school. Am I happy? Hell no! But, 80% of our fan base is already dogging Mario. I'm sure every fan base is similar but ours seems toxic. If our players execute, we win. Were there some bad plays called? Sure. I don't think anyone calls a perfect game… But damn, if our players execute, we win. Mario is here for the long haul. If we are seeing the same results year 3 or 4, we got issues. Until then, I'm ridin' with Mario. Go Cane's!!!

We lost to Middle Tennessee 2 weeks ago.. They have a player roster that ranks in 90s according to 247 sports. This is pitiful. Too many problems here to list. Just same ole thing season after season. Oh well, been a fan for 40 years so not going anywhere but this current program is the worse I can recall.
Looks like the pressure got to Mario. He went for it at the start of the 3rd quarter on 4th and 3 from the 50 yard line. They scored a field goal and that was the game. We could never over come that 2 deficit mistake by Mario. If he would have punted we could have pin them and gotten the ball back.
Mario loosened up the leash on his offense this week and looked much better. If he let his OC just go with it through the whole game instead of just the last half he would’ve had a win there. But I’ll give him credit for letting go of some of the control. Must’ve been hard for him. If he can bring himself to do it next week Miami will win and us Duck fans may have to stop trolling for a week. But he still lost this week so Go Ducks! Thank you Miami AD and boosters!
He's an O-line coach not fit to be a head coach. He'd be good holding a clipboard on the sideline in the NFL coaching lineman. But he can't inspire kids.
