Love the pronanciation of KK :). KK will have a great year.
Defense and goaltending will be the canes weakness this season.
IMO If you want player by using offer sheet you need to overpay. If Kk offer sheet would have been anything less than 5M Montreal would have matched it.
Seems to me a gross overpayment. Habs look better with Dvorak in my opinion on a much better contract. Having said that – KK has a big ceiling and the Canes love their Finns. I think Waddell will try to get him on a $4ish for four years soon. If he doesn't none of this made sense for Carolina.
Personally, though I know Habs nation is not unanimous on this, I wish KK all the best. The skillset is there but the way he thinks the game needs a lot of improvement.
