The Mc series is going to be awesome.
I can't see Trotz going to Vegas (cut throat organization) or Philly (bad roster). To me Dallas, Detroit & Florida would be more appealing.
I still think Jets are the best fit given the personal roots, roster, management possibilities & the fact Chipman rarely fires coaches.

This will be a fairly quick process. He knows he’s holding everyone up and he wants to be in place before the draft. My guess is 2 weeks we will know where Barry is going.
If Trotz goes to Winnipeg and can finally bring the Jets and the city a championship-worthy team than I am all for it. But I wonder about the infatuation with recycled coaches who really don't have the sparkling success everyone thinks they have. No coach is going to win without a top notch goalie, a top defenseman, a top forward, a lot of chemistry team-wide, and a whole lot of luck. Here's hoping for all of this in Winnipeg. My hope is to someday see both the Jets and Coyotes reach the finals and then win that long-deserved Cup.
