Was wondering if Foligno & a coupla others might've been deployed to get them stats to trade, or that might have been Nicks last game on NHL ice?
Monty's post game interview was clear – he was playing with lines, not trying to win a game. And we could see that third period. Cuz we could have sent in some top lines to finish off that game – but Monty held off to see what some new boys could do. Get their learning curve in while it doesn't count!
I respected that. It really felt like we could have won that game – but that wasn't the purpose of playing yesterday.
I almost hope foligno stays in the AHL, doesn't get traded- don't want him starting for the B's, I could see him coming and going, playoffs- but I have a feeling we don't want to play against him either.
Sorry to hear about Reilly. That's a disappointment.
Good for Studs. I don't trust Greer against NHL enforcers. I'm very concerned that young players like him will get neutralized real quick by the likes of Alex Ovechkin.
