JT Realmuto has been a rock for the Phillies. Great Catcher. Great character. When he declined to go to Toronto because of his vaccination status. It could have went either way. JT proved he was the best catcher in baseball.

As a Cardinals fan, I'm not surprised that this Philly team was able sweep us. A good amount of us Stl fans did NOT want this matchup and most of us will not admit that LOL. We knew that Revenge was on the minds of the Phillies. I knew about the pitching and how their offense can get hot at the right clutch time. The Cards and most fans got too caught up in the farewell tour.
Salute to the Phillies broadcasters, for calling it like it is with their team. Stl media are now basically soft on this team, despite the obvious flaws, like a lack of solid bats in the bottom of the order. (A number eight batter, Segura won game one for your guys. This Cardinal team don't have that.) Also, we didn't and haven't try to move runners. I saw a Phillies bunt that put the runner in scoring position, then scored on schwariber sac fly, that's just good fundamental coaching. They overused their bullpen, and just flat out got out-coached by the Phillies.
