  1. There's no chance Sakic signs a 32 year old Kadri for a 7 or 8 year deal. He doesn't go for contracts that could go bad at the back end.

  2. He's very good but come on y'all hyping him up a lil too much. Of all time?? He needs way more playing time to determine that I think.

  3. FYI sports interaction has quite a bit of small print, including a minimum withdrawal amount, so just read up before joining

  4. I’m emotionally preparing myself for Burakovsky and Kadri to be gone. Hoping we can keep just about everyone else.

  5. Nichushkin is the one free agent I want to keep the most. I'd also really like Manson for a while as well. Kadri I'd love but… I just don't see it happening… dude deserves some serious money and I don't think we can afford it.

  6. Can absolutely see Sakic shop Sam Girard this summer for a Burakovsky or Kadri replacement.

  7. I heard Hockey Canada lost their Scotiabank sponsorship(on pause) along with their government sponsorship(last week).

  8. I watched Orr play often on HNIC growing up from the time he was a rookie in the league until he retired due to his injuries…he was a generational player who changed the game as did Gretzky as did Lemieux and as has McDavid. Cake Makar is a premier "D" at his young age and I agree he is probably in the discussion of best in the world with Hedman and Josi BUT I wouldn't put him in the same discussion with Orr quite yet. Time will tell.

  9. When you have a good core you just need veteran/entry level players.
McKinnon,Makar,Byrom, Rantanen,Toews, just need goalie and fill Kadri.

Tampa is going to be good as long as have Vasilesky,Stamkos,Point,Hedman, kucherov and fill players who want no Florida tax nice weather ect and chance to win

  10. I think Kadri could get 9 mil, and nichushkin 7 mil. If we can get Kadri on a 6 year deal that's my priority. All star second line centers are more important than good forwards

  11. Go on about Makar, I can hear it all day long. He is so special. I've been lucky enough to watch him night in and night out since the Avs drafted him and he just keeps getting better and hasn't hit his peak yet. Watch out

  12. crazy thing with makar is he is 9mil a year and Holland gave nurse a 9.5mil contract 😳 colorado is incredibly lucky!

  13. Joe Sakic’s hardest job comes now. Returning a team to defend the cup in the salary cap era.

  14. Kadri probably goes to a deep pocket team on the bubble like The Rangers. I’d love to keep him around but Joe has two gritty kids in the system who can replace him for no money. Dylan Sikura and Kiefer Sherwood. Also look for the Av’s to go after MA Fleury.

  15. Kadri would have to be willing to take a 1 year deal to run it back, but it's in his best interest to capitalize on his season for a multi-year elsewhere

  16. Priorty for Avs 1.Mackinnon deal prolly go 7 by 10.5 (hopefully under 12 at most but you pay him whatever)2. Keep Val if you can if he gets offer for 7 mil you prolly have to let him go. 3. Keumper/goalie prolly keep him under 4.5 mil for 3 years 4. See what market for Burky and Manson is and if it makes sense sign them

  17. Youngest player to win the Conn Smythe? What the heck are they talking about? Patrick Roy did it at age 20!

  18. Nichuskin, lehkonen and Manson. Love kadri but he's getting paid. I trust sakic to resign some talent, pick up new talent at a good price, and reserve cap space to pay the core
