  1. Alex Kerfoot @ 3.5 per would be money on any other team.
The issue is that it is 3.5 per on the Leafs, that can be replaced.
    Kerfoot-Robertson?…Robertson.
    Kerfoot-Engvall?…
Engvall is going nowhere unless Kampf goes with him.
Kerfoot-Jarnkrok?…my money is on the guy they just signed for 4 years
Look for Kerfoot to be a cap casualty soon!

  2. It's time to bring Michael Hutchinson back to really tie this whole team together 😏

  3. Engvall MAY be getting traded guys….. Don't be shocked if it happens. I think Kerfoot is staying at this point so that argument needs to end. Anderson most likely will be claimed, and Keefe desperately wants Malgin in the lineup.

  4. A bit off topic here, but whatever happened to changing the goal song? Looks like they’re sticking with Hall and Oates?

  5. I think the Leafs will take some ideas from the Blue Jays playbook, on 'How to be the Biggest losers'

  6. Simple….Dub-ass needs to adopt a simple three letter philosophy and that is: B.T.B…..BURY THE BUMS!!!

  7. Not much, solace, but the 1st, first round loss. And the last first round loss don’t sting that much. But the 5 sandwiched in between is a high fattening disappointment all the same.

  8. Re: the cap crunch, it's almost tragic but Dubas has to send down Robertson because he can't get claimed. Aston-Reese signed yesterday night (or this morning) so it looks like he makes the 4th line with Kampf and Aube-Kubel. But there's Villeneuve, Benn and Krål that will get sent down on D, and if they put Liljegren on IR that gives them 6 good NHL D-men. The puzzle will be the forward group, I'm guessing..

And here's a thought for Leaf fans: how would y'all feel if they put Kerfoot on waivers? Any sensible Leaf fan has to admit that Kerfoot is a VERY useful player, and no one wants to lose him. But, because of the $3.5M hit wouldn't that basically make them cap compliant? And because 18 of the 32 teams are absolutely cap-strapped, isn't there a good chance he clears waivers? I don't know, what you guys think? Is that too risky, even if it is the solution to all our cap problems? Just wondering aloud 🤔 💭 — thx for the content! GLG 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

Edit: also, I think you're right in Malgin making opening night roster, and with ZAR signed, he too will make the roster, and Robertson as I mentioned above will get sent down (sadly), because he doesn't need to clear waivers. What an exciting time, we're so close to opening night and I can't wait to see the roster! This'll be a GREAT season, and with mediocre goaltending (which isn't a guarantee), I see Toronto winning the ATL, and potentially the Presidents trophy, oh baby!!!!
