If we were a good team with a legit top 6 and just needed some grit in our bottom 6, sure. But it doesn’t make sense with who and what we are. But… it doesn’t matter anyway lol. If it happens, that’s fine. Two guys with 1 year left on their deals. We’ll be basement dwellers. It’s all pretty moot.
Tbh if Simmonds retires as a Flyer…. Well there’d at least be some fucking justice in this universe.
