   I get the call, it should never have been Gio last season. Feels like they are waiting to give it to Matty in a few years. Kinda sad Yanni isn’t getting it until that happens.

   Not surprising at all. I hope they don’t rush Beneirs into the role before he’s had time to settle into the NHL. I’d still prefer having a veteran take the C whenever they do decide on one.
