I’m so confused by this lol. Maybe I’m blinded by my love for the kid, but I don’t get it.
I thought that tomasino could be a top 5 forward on the team this season let alone not even make the team wtf. A player who was expected to make the jump to 50-60 points, not a liability in the defensive zone and a potential weapon on the power play should most definately be an NHL player

Not a bad idea to send him down. He’s got a lot of room to grow and it’s better that he get consistent first line minutes instead of bouncing up and down the lineup and getting scratched. It worked for Glass and plenty of other players in the organization.
Better top line minutes in Milwaukee than healthy scratched in Nashville. I imagine he’s gonna be the first call up when injuries happen.
I was also confused until I saw an article from on the forecheck stating Tomasino is waiver-exempt:

I um… don’t understand this one. Only thing I can think of is that they weren’t happy with his training camp or something.
..why? He had 32 points as a rookie on the bottom 6 lmao. This is ridiculous if it happens. Put the kid on the second line and let him develop.
