  1. you know that scene in dumb and dumber.

" just when i thought you couldnt get any dumber, you do something like this, AND TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!"

well so far i feel the opposite of that. trading down was brilliant! actually drafting down… =/

  2. LP reacted d ryt way, she is von.Monster need of over drama, or over consider ations. She don't deserve *considerationsl. Lp പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ,, ജീവിതം തുടങ്ങിയല്ലേ ഉള്ളു, പഠിക്കട്ടെ.

  3. They could’ve used a second rd pick on this guy. The guy that was drafted after would have been a lot better. But who know’s

  4. Definite agree. Loved the trade… strongly disliked the pick – especially when it seems extremely likely that this guy would still be there for pick #34. Pretty bizarre move, but hopefully between he and the two second round picks, someone sticks.

  5. There’s gotta be a catch to this. I don’t understand this pick. I can understand the trade, but picking this guy over Lambert makes no sense.

  6. Two way player, good on face offs. He'll make the line up sooner than upside guy.

  7. I was gonna say when traded back to 27, I was like “They better hope Lambert is still there”. There he was and that was going to be the best move of the draft and nope. Nothing wrong with drafting Filip, just way too early. If we picked him at 45 I’d be fine with it. Oh Sharks….

  8. Weird pick at #27, but, I don't know..I'm not much a scout. I thought there were a few guys, even if they didn't go Lambert, that would've been better..maybe they were drafting for a 3rd line center. The only thing I can think of is they're factoring in his recent growth spurt from 6'2" to 6'4". He also weighed in at the combine at 204 lbs instead of the old 187 lbs weight that keeps getting stated, so he's already filling out some. Hopefully when he gets used to his new height, his legs will catch up and he'll get his skating on track…will need to really hit those one legged Bulgarian split squats, weighted box jumps and hill sprints hard to increase his acceleration. Goddamn it all.

  9. Considering their fin scouts clearly didn't like Lambert, this is a swing, but whatever.

  10. From what DWjr said a lot of weight was put on his pedigree for having won world Championships. You can teach how to use your body, but it's hard to teach what it takes to be apart of a title winner. I feel the 27 and 34 aren't that big of a difference. DWjr is high on Bystedt, and he hasn't given me a reason to doubt his gut yet.

  11. People bashing and hating bystedt because he isn't their guy need to relax. no one knows how these players interview and i assure you no one in the comments watched bystadt film and games more then the sharks scouting department did. This guy can still become a great player and just because lambert has the upside doesnt mean he won't bust out as a 3rd line guy as well. I remember sharks fans hating the josh norris pick when it happened due to being a low ceiling higher floor guy and even liked that he was the piece traded for karlsson…. stop acting like you know what bystadt is and ignoring how great DW jr. has been in recent drafts

  12. 2:57 Here's the thing, JD. Ive read that he does use his physicality defensively. Which sounds to me like a plus. Also. What is he, 6'4? And from the video I've checked of him he skates pretty well for 6'4. This may be a pretty good pick. Also imagine he's centering your 3rd line in 3 years at 6'4 with 6'4 Coe on his wing.

  13. horrible pick… he definitely would have been available at 34. feel like Lund was a reach too… not off to a great start in the Grier era

  14. On my nhl 22 franchise mode bystedt kept going between 10-20 in the 1st round.. I drafted mattias , bystedt , jake furlong and the goalie beaupit. I couldn't find the others
