Not sure if im alone with this but it was really weird teams to go at each other in czech rep. A) no czech rep supertalent there(pretty sure you could do 2 day deal with one who moves like jagr xD) B) teams in same conference. I mean the matchups in finland make more sense: west v east, rantala v laine. Fun stories to be told and forgotten but hype pretty much makes it self there.
Yes, Sharks looked great because of traditional waist and arm striping. All their iterations without waist striping look like practice jerseys.

As many have pointed out the season’s officially underway but it’s gotten as much attention as a cabinet meeting in Cameroon.
The league needs to do a better job marketing itself w/o silly whistles and bells, bizarre uniforms, and games in far-flung places that mean Sharks-Predators fans have one less time to enjoy home games.

The NHL really needs to do a better job at advertising their games. As someone who follows the Sharks, I had no idea this was a regular season game with preseason games happening the same day. Thank you Shannon for the great reporting and analysis
I'm pretty sure you're safe watching pre season. That game only had a 1.2% difference in the total season impact lol
