I don't care how old 37 and 46 are. The Bruins are better today with these two sublime players than they were before they signed. Remains to be seen how that translates over the long haul.
The dark cloud over some B's is lifted with Cassidy gone. JDB should be in an even better state of mind. Same with Freddy whom I hope can return to his early rambunctious form of two years ago coupled with the offense he provided at times last season with Coyle and Smith. I read an article where Foligno wasn't happy with his role in the team. It remains to be seen if he, too, with an improved mindset, rebounds under Montgomery or his performance last year was an accurate portrayal of his present abilities.
