Listen Giroux, Marchment, Chiarot are GONE! Deal done, transactions final! Don't look back! We picked up some other players, and I'm hoping that one of those is going to turn out to be 'a diamond in the rough'! I still wouldn't be surprised if they deal Bobrosky and/or Weegar during the season when some team runs up against injury issues! The Wings are going to be an awesome team. Things are going to be tough in the Atlantic! Thanks for the great vid!

Okay… today was a real bust. How are we expected to get over the hump and finally beat Tampa in the playoffs when we sign five (5) bargain bin players today? Hell… the Staals were a BOGO buy one get one practically.
All I can say at this point is I really hope the Panthers go for Jakob Chychrun at this point in a trade in exchange for MacKenzie Weegar.

Look I got to admit I feel like this team can still make a push even with out those players (Remeber when we let go of mike Hoffman and dadnov the next year we were pretty good)The panthers unlike potential remember of what happened with verhaghe and wenberg those guys never got the chance but when they came to Florida with Joel they were excellent oh and same Bennett. Now I feel like the new guys white,cousins,etc can do the same thing with Paul Maurice.Not saying we will be as good as the last time but they have a chance.Anyway I feel like for weegar we can get a guy like Jordan Schultz or John klingberg

Zito finds the diamonds in the rough, and not giving any long term cap hit contracts is exactly what we needed to do this year. Next year we will now have plenty of cap space with Hornys 5m+ coming off the books, the Yandle hit coming off the books and if we dont re sign Weeger and trade him during the year we will have more than 20m left after signing Huby for 10m. Zito knows what he is doing.
ADD to that the stupid money given to Giroux, Marchment(benefitted from Panthers systems) Vatrano, Gubranson(super stupid amount for him) ,

I don’t know why everyone’s freaking out 😂. Our top 6 is Barkov, Verhaeghe, Reinhart, Huberdeau, Bennett, and probably a minor league kid. That’s pretty elite and still in the upper echelon of the league, not to even mention Lundell on that 3rd line and Duclair coming back when he gets healthy. Our defense stayed intact for the most part, and Bob and Knight coming back as one of the most consistent goalie tandems in the league. With the exception of Marchment (and obviously Duclair), we have the same exact roster as we did when we were the very best team in the league chasing the presidents trophy all regular season long (didn’t include Acciari because He was hurt half the year). Anything less than a Top 3 finish in the division would honestly surprise me.
Major power shift in the East. I still trust Zito, (yes we gave up way too much to land Giroux and Chairot) but Zito and staff have done creative outside the box stuff before. Remember as well a lot of this mess was started by Talon. All I care about is securing a playoff spot. Division Titles or Presidents Trophies are no good for us, we just need to play good enough which we can and we will to get a playoff spot. I am so happy the farm system is being replenished. I hope that stain of Tampa sweeping us will be enough motivation and under Maurice’s guidance we can finally be the Team of Destiny #timetohunt #gocatsgo
Well the Atlantic is even harder for us now. Wouldn’t be surprised if Detroit and Ottawa knocks us down alongside Tampa and Toronto. This season is gonna be chaotic for sure. Hell even Boston got some pretty good pick ups idk we are just gonna have to wait and see.
I like Colin White signing. He’s got some upside and also would much rather have a vet like Cousins in bottom 6 than a young guy. I don’t hate the moves, just wish we could have found a way to keep March.

March got hurt In playoffs, wasn't a factor. His skinny ass frame and his style of play don't really work . Dallas gonna regret paying the man so much fucking money. And Nick Cousins slots into March spot seamlessly.
