Just trade the players that are not in our future.
IMO Adams prolly won't spend the money on FAs. Not even a goalie, I hope i'm wrong, but I think he will go with our young players. It could be another long season of below or .500 Hockey at best ! Bummer. Lets just hope i'm way off on this one ! Don't want to waste another season, out of the playoffs !
that wasn't a sabres fan.. that proposal is a Ducks fan. Personally, Gibson was good… but not THAT GOOD… that a Hasek/Roy/Luongo at their peak level trade for another goalie on his way out..

The goal should be getting into the postseason given how well they played over the last 2 months; to me anyway. That said, don't throw away assets just to get in this coming year. The endgame is 2-3 years down the road.
Not gonna make any predictions until we see what the roster will look like. That said, anybody hoping for a big goaltender signing is probably going to be disappointed. Lot of teams in that market and not enough bodies to keep it flat.

Rangers back up goalie Alexander Georgiev is a RFA and wants out. He wants a chance to start. Trade Eric Portilla for him. Rangers cannot afford to resign him.
I believe buffalo should get Campbell, have UPL as backup, and let Anderson retire. but if we don't get Campbell we should play Anderson and UPL split next season.

Sabres should : sign a Claude Giroux, and a veteran goalie; a good one. Two major moves that majorly impact the team. Then in the draft – draft a center ( a good one) , and trade picks for a defenseman (a good young d-man) . There future solved, hire me as GM.
Bishop move just indicated we shouldn't expect anything big – they want to get to the cap floor.
I guess they just want to see what they really have before Adams starts making any major moves.
When it comes to goalies a think they land somebody like Brossoit, Reimer, Hill or Comrie and I am perfectly fine with it as long as it's for 2 years max.

A WHOLE lot has to go absolutely perfectly for this team to have a shot at the playoffs. Like every single player perform well over their previous best and they need to stay healthy and not be riddled with injuries all season. Biggest thing that will either help or cripple this team is goaltending. If they don’t make a significant addition to the goaltending they aren’t going anywhere.

Go out and sign Jack Campbell or Pittsburgh back up Casey Desmith in goal . PK Slewban on D. And bring in a decent centre who is good on faceoffs like Carolinas Vincent Trochek. I was high on signing Nazim Kadr but I'm thinking he will be asking for north of $7.5 million a season …..no thanks .

Gibson trade is beyond awful
If still not feeling well, try black seed oil. Comes in oil or capsules. Also White Pine Needle Tea. Both good for the immune system. Havent had a Cold or flu since I started taking them in October of last year.

I expect Sabre' to compete for a playoff spot. The fact that many think Buffalo has to attain about 100 pts is a myth. The Sabre' are not the only team that should improve next year. Detroit, Ottawa and New Jersey will win more games. Of course, GMKA will need a goalie and perhaps a few more assets. And the young core will have to continue to grow.
