The game is getting faster and more skilled every year. This new generation of talent is going to be susceptible to targeting. This will lead to the resurgence of the enforcer. Maybe not pure fighters like Boogard, Parker, or Parros. But more like a Simmonds, good skill but mostly physical.

Leafs fan here. Most of the Kadri hate comes down to what he looks like and his name. The league is full of feisty scrappy white boys that everyone loves but the one prominent POC Muslim does the exact same shit and everyone wants him out of the league.
Last summer I saw a Caps fan going at Kadri as if Tom fucking Wilson isn’t on his team. For fuck’s sake people. If you hold POC in hockey to higher standards of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct, you’re racist. Pure and simple.
