    Brannstrom is on the hot seat. It's this year or never for him to show he won't be easily outmuscled, bounced off the puclk or hejpless to clear the crease. He's not fast enough to get away with his lack of size.

    Brannstrom situation is perplexing. He’s unfortunately tied to the Stone trade and will forever be compared to that.

    But if you remove that context, he’s shown his biggest flaw once he started to play in the NHL…He’s too slow and too small, he gets absolutely crushed in his own end, outskated by opposing forwards for puck retrieval and if you think DJ Smith is gonna put him on the 2nd pairing, you’re delusional.

    Unless he can grow tree trunks for legs like Marty St. Louis, he’s got no chance playing in this league and will opt to play in Europe within 2 years.

    I loved the Pizza Line. It was a free slice of pizza at Pizza Pizza after 4 goals. Unfortunately, they were scoring way too often that it rose to 5 then to 6 goals. Dayton is right that the 2007 Sens had one amazing line but they also had a shutdown pair in Phillips and Volchy with Redden and Mesarzos as a second pair. Chabot is great but we don't have a shutdown pair yet. I think we will not be a serious playoff team until Pierre Dorion does something to get that.

    This guy is completely out to lunch and so negative on the Senators! It’s like you went and got a leafs fan to comment on the Ottawa Senators and their players, LMFAO this guy is going to eat a big old slice of humble pie this year on so many fronts. Josh Norris will flirt with 50 goals, DeBrincat will flirt with 40, Tkachuk, Batherson and Stützle will all be 30 goal scores. Breakout years from Shane Pinto and Jake Sanderson. Period Chabot will put up more points this year about 15 to 20 and our goal tending will be top 10 in the league
