I remember as a young Finn when I went to see SC in my hometown back in 2008, Valtteri Filppula brought that here. Nice memory for me and who knew that he would become first Finn ever to win SC, Olympic gold and World Championship. This is a great tradition and now new winners can share this victory for their hometowns.

Facts straight! Translation wrong, it's Hovet not Hovat. Former Johanneshovs isstadion which nickname became its official name later. The more known WCH stadium Globen(now Avicii Arena) sits just by it. Only Söderstadion between. The former home arena for Hammarby IF football. I would guess they visited the Hammarbybacken with the beautyful view over Stockholm.
I get teary eyed seeing each players personal touch with the cup.
Gabe reminiscing about where his career start was with the dates on the cup to today was a very humbling moment. He has earned the right to be the Captain and to become a part of the history of the cup with his name written in that silver chalice.
