    The Leafs are legit this year. I’m typically very skeptical but I’ve actually got a good feeling about Matt Murray and our small additions. Matthews Bunting Marner have been fantastic so far but they are about to enter Super Saiyan mode. Matthews Art Ross and Richard incoming.

    I've said it before but Murray's father died I think either his last year in Pittsburgh or first year in Ottawa and that would affect anyone who is close to their family, and I think he is. You guys are right I think there was too much pressure in Ottawa and not enough structure, I think Ottawa expected him to be a world beater and shut everything down. I think he's more the type to win you Games , more than shut things down. I think he's going to let in 1 2 or probably 3 in a game but it will be after toronto is at like 4 or 5 goals or may e at worst it might be 2,2 and he will let one in and fall behin, but he will keep them in it.

    There will be NO MERCY shown vs Opponents this year. Go Leafs. They'll win their first four games easily and get off to a big head start ✅

    Tavares is on a mission this year. Looking to have a solid 80 point year.

    The Habs lost every 2022 exhibition game which means nothing I suppose.

    On paper, they’re a better team than last season when they finished dead last in the standings. Getting Slafkovsky was their reward. Should they tank again, Connor Bedard or that talented Russian might land in their lap.

    They will rely mainly on resigned goalie Jake Allen and Sam Montebault to keep the rubber out of the net. Not having Jeff Petry and Romanov on D won’t help that cause. It’s going to be another long painful regular season.

    Being this is the final year of Kyle Dubas’s contract, he might pull a rabbit out of his hat with an eventual trade or two to finally have his team win Round 1 of the playoffs. That’s all he needs to receive a contract extension.

    Three times Stanley Cup champion Patrick Kane is still available. It will require innovative cap manipulation and trade pieces to secure his services as Kane could be the tipping point to finally get over the hump.
