  1. He only changed keys twice throughout the performance! All jokes aside that was damn impressive for a hockey player!! Well done Malcolm.

  2. Gave me chills…it didnt sound technically great but he was singing from the heart and that makes it perfect.

  3. Very nicely done.

But I thought athletes were supposed to KNEEL for the Anthem, not SING it….especially, you know, athletes from that "oppressed" demographic (although I believe Subban is Canadian). That's what trolls like Colin Kaepernick, Britney Griner and Megan Rapinoe tell us anyway

That's why I stick with hockey, even after I've told the NFL, NBA and MLB to f*** off.

  4. To be honest, he was all over the place (music wise) and seemed to be really nervous, but I loved it! It is a very tough song to master. Kudos to him for having the brass balls to do it!

  5. That was a pleasant surprise! He was better than 90% of the singers who do that regularly.

  6. That was absolutely incredible. That seriously brought a tear to my eye. I hope he re signs with the Sabres and does the anthem before each game he starts for the Sabres next year!

  7. I hope he improves as a goalie and continues playing , So cool to have a dude like that on your team

  8. Its too bad he is not good enough to be our starting goaltender he has a personality which us buffalo sports fans love he would be a celebrity here in Buffalo

  9. That's another reason I love hockey, the gentlemen's sport. Michael and his brother PK are Canadian. God bless Hockey God bless Canada and God bless america

  10. Idk why he nervous, he spent years in Canada n USA playing hockey this should come natural

  11. Really shows how close the pro hockey community is, he's on a new team but his old teammates still loving it

  12. He upstaged his brother with that performance his breathing technique was on point .
