Finally the first game of season is near by. Lots of waiting for Tkachuk. So far Florida during these preseason games has seen purely nothing about this dude. It is time to make those mojo talks to work already in the first game. Nice to see Eetu in the third line. He is the machine. Verhaeghe-Barkov-Reinhart I think this line has potential and at the same time lots of basic dangers in it too. Dire straits? Money for nothing?
Hot take: Lundell mans the second line and leads the team in points. Let's have a great f***en season. Least we get a banner for the President's Cup.

Keep up the good work, Jaws. Watched the Caps and Bruins last night: brutal game, much closer than the final score. They are going to be very difficult teams to beat. I wish some of Panthers (hint, hint Bobs, Horny) would voluntarily take a salary cut and play for a bit less than they are worth so that they can have better players around them, just like Boston does. That is one of the plusses that keeps the Bruins competitive. Also, there are just so many GREAT teams this year, it's almost impossible to see how it is all going to shake out in terms of the standings. The injuries on OTHER TEAMS may have as much influence as the injuries on the Panthers team. Maybe we all need to start thinking of the President's Trophy as a SECOND CUP, because a lot of teams are going to play VERY WELL, but there is only one Stanley Cup.
