  1. I’ve been a Canucks fan my whole life, does anything about tonight’s game surprise you? Forever cursed.

  2. kane is completely unselfish, and no one would believe that until the last goal.

  3. They didn’t choke, they sent out their goon to deliberately injure Hughes, and he did and he didn’t get called and they scored on the play. Then while Hughes was in the dressing room getting fixed up.

Then later the same good runs over the goalie, intentionally.

The answer is not to go after Kane. The answer is to pull up a 240 pound goon from the ECHL and let him give McDavid a two hander right across the mouth, take out some teeth and send him to hospital. And tell them they will do it again, and again, as long as the play their gold and have him sent out to injure real hockey players.

The Oilers are the only team who would even talk to this Kane goon, who,has substance abuse and spousal abuse history. He runs over goalies constantly, and deliberately injures other players. This is his first game back since since gooning and deliberately injuring Kadri and getting a suspension for that.

Nurse should have had a game suspension for double runnng Burroughs.

That’s how the Oilers wanna play? Hire some goons, Canucks, and take out McDavid for a few months.

  4. Honestly MOST of the penatlies (EIGHT OF THEM total btw) were pretty soft. The Oilers are not some prairie bullies, these guys were just diving left and right

  5. Look I get that the Kane missed call was bad, but after that it was still 3-1 for the canucks and the oilers got into way more penalty trouble. That one call is no excuse as to why they couldn’t close this one out.

  6. Everyone saying that it’s not because of the missed Hughes call is brain dead and I’m sorry. He’s our number 1 defensemen on the team. He plays like 9 mins a period and when your out for over half a period yea it’s gonna screw you

  7. The Canucks came out fast and hard for almost two periods and they should be somewhat happy about that, Even I was impressed, (Not a Canuck's fan) the oilers were undisciplined assclowns the whole game and sucked very hard , ( Oiler fan) the bad news for Vancouver is they can do that and still win! Yes the PK and PP

  8. It’s literally first game of the season, let’s not overreact here. Yes that missed high stick on Hughes was brutal, but the Canucks played themselves tonight.

  9. It made me even more salty because I have EKane rostered in a fantasy league where PIM matters 🤣

  10. Lego that wasn't the turning point, it wasn't a GWG a tying goal it was a 3-1 goal, yes it should have been a penalty but you went 1-8 on the PP the turning point was the 3 on 1 shorthanded goal and you gave up 3 PP goals, can't blame the refs here you had 8 PP chances. Special teams cost you the game

  11. You guys blew a 3-0 lead and sure that one goal it’s still 3-1 your team collapsed just admit it 8 power plays and your blaming one missed cmon look at how many calls are missed on mcdavid every game stop whining I know you hate Edmonton but we had the comeback and deserved to win scoring 5 straight canucks will be fine I look forward to next game

  12. Lets be real. If refs didn’t miss that call. They 100% would keep being the better team.

  13. At least there are 81 more games in the season, there will always be missed calls on both sides. It sucks but hopefully the team learns and comes out better for it

  14. Hi I’m legorocks99🙋🏽‍♂️
    Waaaaaahhhh 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩Waaaahhhhhhhhhhh😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭waaaaaaahhhhhh

  15. Only Canuck fans would complain about the refs even when you get 8 power plays only score on one of them, let in a short handed goal and still lose the game 😂

  16. For blank sake
That called turned the game around
It got them a goal got them on the board it got the fans back into it
    And got them the momentum

  17. Power play stunk. Demko was average. Hoglander missed the net again as usual. Pearson is awful as always.

  18. IMO GIO you are the one blowing it, Nathan from graviteh is getting sportsnet coverage and you are not. Time to grow up, get a real adult name and promote your talent. You need yo understand the huge talent you have and stop the childish commentary. Just trying to help and push you forward Gio. Take the next step man, your time is now! You have the ability and talent to go big.

  19. This is exactly why I quit cheering for Vancouver (as an Oilers fan), when they played Boston in the Stanley Cup finals. i expect some whining from people in the comments section because God only know how old some of those people are, but Legorocks, you want to present ypurself as an unbiased youtube commentator? 8 powerplays, and Edmonton scores as many goals on Vancouver's powerplay as Vancouver does, and you complain about a missed call when Vancouver already led the game 3-0? Like they always say, losers look for excuses. There's no excuse for Vancouver losing that game. Period. That's on them.

  20. They HAVE to fix whatever tf is wrong with the pp. It's more predictable than your generic isekai anime. The only shots are Petey one timers from Hughes passes from the dot. The stupid drop pass to Hughes is back and you know what that means, more shorthanded breakaways for the other team! Overall, the puck movement was pathetic looking at how much talent is on it.

  21. When you not only go 1 for 8 on the PP but also allow 2 PP goals and 1 SH goal… yeah… you generally lose the game.

  22. The Oilers are just better on paper. Sorry. The Canucks did great in that first period and should honestly feel good about that. But it's just so hard to keep McDavid, Draisaitl, Kane, Hyman, RNH, Nurse, Bouchard and Barrie from figuring out ways to score over 3 periods, especially when you're eventually going to take a penalty or two at some point.

And yeah, there was that one missed high sticking call, but it's dubious to say that alone could have made the difference, as the Canucks got a bunch more powerplay time that they didn't convert on.

  23. Grow up no missed call is the reason you lost , ,oh my god , if your team has 3goal lead you don’t loss no matter what , , missed calls go both ways , it’s a fast game

  24. Your right. You deserved more power plays. How many more would you like? I think you were one for eight. So sixteen more power plays would take you into overtime.
The refs did everything they could to make up for the missed call.

  25. Pretty sure it was Dri who cut Hughes right before he scored lol. Vancouver did have plenty of opportunities to get back into the game though… Gotta do something with 8 power plays. Oh, I was wrong, it was Kane that slashed Hughes lol.
