Why is it that everytime the hawks pick up young good talent that seem to make great progress over the seasons in their performance they throw them away EVERY SINGLE TIME. Only for them to go on to another team and sharpen their skills even further. How can you expect to develop and bring young talent into the team like when caner and Jonny where brought on, when everytime the chance is there they decide you know what no no let’s change things up again. ????
Trading DeBrincat was the final straw for me. I’m out.
I would not resign with the Blackhawks… they are a sinking ship! Davidson is following the Cubs model of sucking for the next ten years.
This was a pretty stupid situation now. They had Players they could build around but chise to do a full rebuild NOW. Knowing Toews has an expiration date now with His injuries and Kane isnt a spring chicken even thought Hes still Tops. This could have done better after they had left they had time to make moves to get better around DeBrincat and Dach. good Idea wrong time.
Cant they trade Jones. He's too old to last through this rebuild he should move on. Toews needs to move on or retire he's not going to be able to speed skate with these kids imo.
LLLOLL Chicago BedardHawks
I Just Hate To See Kane And Toews Go But It's For The Best.
So I am surprised you guys didn't discuss at all Eddie O's departure.
Kane to oilers with salary retention? Might be wishful thinking but imagine mcdavid, draisitle and Kane on a power play
Davidson will either be the most hated gm in Chicago ever or a genius
I'm happy they are doing the rebuild I been waiting for about 2-3years for that full rebuild
I like that they kept toews and Kane this long , if it wasn't for them well all these young talent they've had through these last 5 + years wouldn't be where they are now in their career, the 2 core players had huge impact on new players coming the hawks
I could give two shits about how Seth Jones feels… bros getting paid $8 m a year.
New listener, just found you , good show. Toews was better after the first 20 games. He's a tough guy for sure.
You'd think with the money and experience in a production like this that they would've fixed Pat Boyle's mic.
