Nice job on that hiring Brunette seems like he forgot how to make a Powerplay work. Oh well Ruff is gone after this year and i hope Fitz get a young coach with some experience. Brunette better not become the coach when Ruff is gone cuz look what happen in Florida dude choked and had the worst PP.
It's the Torts magic. He's a perfect fit. He's bad with established stars (Sedin brothers, Laine etc.) but good when a young team needs to bring out their talent and confidence and step it up.
Even as a Flyers and Torts fan I want to remind that it will be a rocky road and lots of learning experiences for the young team, but it will be a great story and an interesting season to follow. Just don't lose your hope when there eventually will be a string of losses. It's a process and they're heading into the right direction.
looking at the line-up on paper, i think philly is underrated. may surprise some folks. couturier coming back soonish. the playoffs are not a pipe dream.
