@Islanders de New York

  1. The best part was watching the Penguins announcers crying about this game…. the same crew that cried during this was the same crew that laughed about the broken jaw punch…. Go figure that

  2. Dang!! Love This! "Everybody Get Down" Good Job Having Each Others Back. When The Goalie Goes Off…Now That's Worth Watchin.

  3. Everything was good ole time hockey until Tangradi was attacked after he was already hurt. Then to mock a player, who was obviously injured is pretty classless

  4. Uh just watched "the hit on Comeu" It was a perfectly legal hit…WTF are the Islanders doing here?

  5. I was there that night as 13 year old with my dad, and this game is why I watch every single Islanders game and became a true Isles fan. I was a fan before this night, but this game brought it home for good, and I recently saw Trevor Gillies at the 2019 Alumni Day and spoke to him for five minutes about this game. He said he still hates Goddard

  6. Poor little bitch penguins got what they had coming to them. The NHL has been favouring them with their baby bitch captain Crosby so it was awesome for NYI to humiliate them on the score board and in fights

  7. That's the one bad part of all the rule changes since the 80's. Back then, there would have been one huge bench clearer and then it would have settled down.

  8. The Islanders were angry that the Pens players were laughing at them the last game they played against them, and they did something about it. Charles Wang, the owner, was against fighting, so there was more pent up tension. I doubt they were laughing after this game. Fast forward to us knocking the Pens out of the playoffs last year, and being on the cusp of sweeping the Caps out of the playoffs this year.

  9. I remember watching this when I was like 9 and it was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Isles score 9 goals and everyone gets tossed. Unreal game.

  10. One of the greatest games in Islander history! The NHL & the refs, and especially the Penguins showed them no respect for more than just this season. This was their answer, and it bonded the team and rejuvenated the fans.

  11. I remember the league saying this game was a bad look for the sport, but no, this was f**kin awesome. Most entertaining game Ive ever watched.

  12. This makes me so proud to be an Islander fan!!!
Since Bailey and Martin are still playing…..I wonder where Haley and Gillies are now?

  13. This is the complete and utter change of the Islanders organization, where a soft organization would make it known our best players will not be thrown about. Got reminded of this due to the Rangers-Caps brawl

  14. Gillies is kinda a bitch for that…hit a guy high, he’s hurt and you start sucker punching him in the head…then shit talk like you’re a tough guy…that’s weak

  15. I remember watching this game on tv with my dad. Always exciting to see a fight in any game but this was something to behold.

  16. Once an Islander, always an Islander. I’m an English fan of the New York Islanders and I will always be proud to show my colours! People say theses are goons,I say they are playing for the jersey and their teammates. I couldn’t give a f**k what others think,I’m an Islander, and I’m proud to be one.

  17. This was disgusting by the Islanders. The hit on Talbot from behind and Gillies punching Tangradi while he is on the ice hurt barking at him while off the ice hurt.

  18. Lost my voice for 3 days after this. Best regular season game I’ve been too.(Tavares’ return to the island is no. 2)

  19. Ranger fan here.. but I was a huge Islanders fan for a moment after this, FUCK THE PUSSY PENS
