Kap is overrating the run game was good, the defense held them to 12 point after Jones gifted Washington 6 points. If either Mooney or Pettis catches one of those balls that hit their hands in the end zone this would have been a good win for the Bears. We need better play calls in the red zone, this makes two straight games the Bears could have won with better Goal to Goal calls on offense.

What the heck did everybody think??? They dump their number one receiver and refused to ever pay him. They refused to get legit offensive line help by grabbing guys that can't start on any other team. They dumped their defense and expected to stop the run game. Their tight end is only considered good on this team, and they take rejects from other teams. They get a new first time GM and a defensive minded coach who in all his years, no one else gave him a head coaching job. In order to save money, they dump almost all legit players. Seems like a good idea until you realize you have to be able to pick talent in order to make a good team. That requires skill. The real reason teams dump talent is because their new GM and coach's ego says I can make a super bowl winner team with guys I pick. Stupid philosophy.
