Thing is that they weren't the better team, we just gave up in the 3rd. The game was ours, got in our heads too much when momentum shifted. Win game 4 and this series is ours. I believe.

Trouba was absolutely brutal today. Up 2-0 and Tampa got off the mat thanks to him.

Too much time in their own zone was NY, they can thank their goalie for keep them in it almost all the way. It could have easily been a blow out in Tampa's favor. NY just didn't quite match FL's intensity. Even NY can gain the split, I think they get back home take the series.
Here's my take Roger Ranger… terrible positioning by your goalie on the GWG. And why is Panarin on the ice for anything but the PP?? he must have given the puck away on every shift he played tonight! If that was in his contract, he'd have made some serious bonus money tonight ! LOL!! Plus, your coach needs to make better in game adjustments. Just standing there frowning, with a glazed look in the eyes while your team is being overrun is not a good look. Otherwise you should feel good as your still in it Roger…

The Rangers gave up 50 shots in this game! Can't let that happen in Game 4 and expect to win.
Played bad game, JT took some horrible penalties, Tampa played as good as they can, and we were in it until last minute. Bodes well for game 4! BUT, unless PANARIN gets his game right, we are NOT winning cup!
I called Rangers in 6. I had a feeling this was going to be a tough one. Both teams have home wins. We’re a game ahead, don’t panic, stay off of the box and grind out 2 wins against a good team.
Yes, they were back on their heels a tad in the third but minor adjustments are nothing to this group still up in the series which is positive come out the same and try out of the box Tampa did run Igor at an unacceptable level simply out of desperation hockey but can't rattle him he is in the zone!

Did the NHL pay the refs and NY to throw this game? I don’t get it. NY in finals would generate so much more than Tampa. Tampa got lucky on 5-3 vs Toronto. Today NY had 4 minutes pp and Tampa took two not one two penalties. Should have been 5-3. Also te watch last 5 minute. Rangers were icing pucks with people open everywhere. They were playing dump and change not dump and chase.
Tampa really wanted this game. Rangers were kind enough and gave a donation.

The refs are always against the Rangers. The lightning are a dirty cheap team. Kucherov spears Shesty with the ref looking right at it and no call. Colton slashed Shesty Lindren gets in his face Colton then cross checks lindy in the mouth and they both get tossed?! Then 30 seconds into the 3rd period Trouba gets a penalty for nothing, not from the ref right next to him but from the ref at center ice. WHAT A JOKE!!! The only way Tampa can win is if the refs give it to them. The NHL is so dumb. They finally have their NY team with a shot and they go out of their way to hurt them. TAMPA IS A DIRTY AND WHINY TEAM!
Lightning fan, just dropping in to say that Gallant is a class act, and you can see why players like to play for him. He defends his guys, is well-spoken, even-keeled and is very businesslike. Hoping for a good remainder of the series!
They had a game like that against Carolina and bounced back. Can't take penalties and can't turn the puck over in their own end. I think they will win game 4.

WE SHOULDA HAD A 5-3 during the 4 min man advantage because there was ANOTHER HIGH STICK THAT DIDN'T GET CALLED …. the refs were like "eh…they're already on a 4 min powerplay we can't give them another man advantage … ridiculous

Refs gotta be better on calling penalties….questionable calls especially soft call for Trouba..and rangers was pushed into Vaz..nevertheless up 2 goals in 2nd u gotta stay with fire..let them back in with refs….get em tuesday..ps Tampa players deliberately nailing Igor..that better be addressed
I have mixed feelings regarding Jacob Trouba. Yes he plays a physical game and is liked bv his teamstes but his game too often is sloppy and he has a penchant for turnovers.
I guss the Rsngers won't move him but I think they could use a defenseman that was more consistent with less turnover propensity rhsn Trouba!
Huge mistake by Gallant not playing the kid line as much late in the 3rd period when the Rangers needed to turn the tide against the surging Bolts.
Pull reeves off the ice he does nothing not allowed to get into scrums/fights and has almost no hits for a guy like him put someone in who can do something
These kids have to play a 60 minute game. You can't let up leading by 2 goals. Don't let them up when you have them down. If you win game four your in complete control.
