This looks eerily familiar for Oilers fans. The whole reason for signing Campbell was to put an end to the years of the hold-your-breath-and-peek-through-your-fingers tandem of Smith/Koskinen, and finally get a real goalie who could take some of the load off McDavid, Draisaitl and co. and get EDM over the hump. This is NOT what you want to see from Campbell (or your blue-liners) in your first game against your biggest rivals.
Probably shouldn't have signed a 2nd string goalie who wears reskinned equipment from 2012 for 5M a season.
