And these guys doing the pod cast throwing there team under the bus! Assholes! And putting Skinner above Soupy after having the post saving his ass 3 time's. Kane will be your cancer before the season end!
I feel like Canada came to a concensus this off-season that the Oilers were our 'big hope' when it comes to true contenders. But for me, I've been very hesitant to grant them that 'status', because it seems that there's an inherent flaw in the construction of this team. And you guys said it yourselves: When the star players aren't CRUSHING the game, the team seems unable to compete at a high level. That's definitely worrisome. Connor is a legend, but he's also a human being (who unfortunately has the weight of the world on his shoulders). Campbell, even being a big upgrade, is still relatively unproven, which is also cause for concern.
But having said all that, the season JUST started. EDM could prove to be the very best team in the entire NHL by Christmas. That's the nature of the game. This was my first listen, I think you guys did a good job — thx for the content!! Good luck with the new show guys 😀 🇨🇦 👍
