I will say that this 2022 Stanley Cup Finals match-up between the Avalanche and Lightning will be best finals match-up we have seen in a long time, Lightning trying to win the Stanley Cup for the 3rd year in a row since the Islanders won 4 in a row in the early 80's and the Avalanche trying to win the Stanley Cup for the first time since 2001 and the best team all season long should be a great Finals.

What a Tampa love fest
It’ll be interesting to see if the Bolts defense find themselves in chase mode against the Avs with that elite speed on rested legs. Not to take anything away from Vasi, but that defense makes him better due to the low volume of quality scoring chances they allow. Tampa is great at keeping guys on the outside and condense the middle leading to low percentage shots and blocks. Seems during the games Tampa was a little off and got out skated, Vasi was exposed a few times.
This series is such an interesting and cool matchup and can’t wait to watch the chess match unfold. No prediction but I think the Avs are going to surprise a lot of people now that they’re finally on the big stage. As for Tampa, we all kind of know what we’re getting.
I like that the Lightning are the underdogs. Makar and the AVS offense are getting so much attention. All the more reason for the Lightning to prove the world wrong again.
