  1. No chance he was ever signing with Montreal. Just grasping here. It was Boston or nothing as they wanted him back and he knows his legacy and 18 points shy of 1000 with Boston and that's where he was going or retirement so not sure the point of this post…😐

  2. The title of your video is misleading. That’s a comment that’s just loyal after signing a contract. Refuse it a word that wasn’t used in his context. Go habs go

  3. Agreed with all
Trois rivière is not three rivers.
    Keep the prononciation propre

  4. Proper pronunciation of French names of French players, eh? Yes… Oui. Tabernak! 😄

  5. Its funny. All the hardcore french fans want the team to have more Quebecois players, but the Quebec players dont want to play here. Look at Danault. And he actually played for Mtl, and he didnt want to resign. Players only care about money (majority), so why wouldnt the fans want the best players for that money. I shouldnt overpay a Quebec player to come to Mtl. It should be the other way around if anything.

  6. I can imagine the text exchange :
Hughues : Anything I can say to make you consider signing? 😁
    Bergeron : Nope 🤣
Hughues : Had to try 😂 Have a good one Pat!

  7. I don’t believe he refused just like I don’t believe that Huberdeau or Letang ever had a chance of signing with the Habs. With everything Hughes has done and said none of those signings make any sense whatsoever

  8. Bergeron wasn't a Montreal Canadiens' fan growing up; he was a Quebec Nordiques' fan. And Patrice, being his usual classy self, wouldn't say it publicly, but he hates the Habs. They've been his team's archenemies for his whole carreer. Nick Foligno talked about how Bergeron and Marchand explained to the new guys just how important winning against Montreal was for them.

  9. So, the headline could also be…Bergeron REFUSED TO SIGN With (insert every other team in the NHL)….enough ofd the drama.

  10. I don't think Bergeron had problems with Cassidy and that he was waiting for his firing to sign with the Bruins. Krejci might have, as he clearly expressed his dipleasure of never getting to play with Pastrnak. And DeBrusk definitely has! How happy must he have been when he learned that Cassidy had been fired!!!!

  11. Montreal never asked to Bergeron to sign a contract here. No team at all in NHL did because they all knew Bergeron wanted to play for Boston only.

  12. Hey l don't get it, he said he hates the Montreal Canadiens since he was a kid,he always said he would never play here, who care that he is a Quebecers, people have to stop talking about this guy,,how does he have to says he's not interested, get over it who wants him anyway he's 36yeara old with plenty of injuries the Montreal Canadiens are rebuilding now, don't need him

  13. If he did refuse I’m glad he did as habs fan I wanna see young guys get in the line up not a guy at end of his career

  14. Well he is a Bruins player through and through. Over the years there have been some bad blood. Hard to come from that and play with your heart with a team that has been your enemy for so long.

  15. Please pronounce the name as it should be pronounced. Screw those who cant name french names and complains.
