    Tkachuk would transform the franchise but I really don’t think he’s gonna come. He’s gonna have to sign and want big money and the isles will have to trade a massive amount of assets. Both things that Lou doesn’t wanna do so I’m not even gonna consider this.

    Tkachuk would be a great addition, but the cost being thrown around is too much; Beau, Räty, 2x1st round picks, and perhaps more. I feel we need to stretch a lot to get him and grab this great opportunity, but we can't sack anything else.

    Isles fans, let’s please accept this Gm for whatever reason, really believes this team can win it and all he needs to do is “give away another #1 for Tarasenko at the deadline and we can win it—-this is what he’s thinking. We know this is not true. Kid is gonna walk like pajama boy. I say he won’t trade the kid because “we can win this year”!! We can be 10 points out cine the deadline and he won’t trade Barzie! We’re in a pickle, another season about yo be wasted. Another year of nail biting hockey to see if we can pull out 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 games! We will have to wait for a new Gm to come in and either send some guys packing—-or eat some $$$. This is Lou’s final year. Guys—we all thought we were getting the ex Devs shrewd Gm and what we have is a lame duck Gm that is 82 soon to be 83 Gm that’s in his final year. Lou is a hall of famer but he’s just shot at this point. 1 more year and owners have to accept he is out of gas—-I get no one wants to come here but you can’t keep players that are no longer helpful but can help other teams because they’re not depended on—-Bailey, Varly and Beau! Last Isles true superstar? 93–Turgeon. Disgraceful

    We are in a bad situation from every angle. Either give up everything we have, plus no 1st rnd drafts for few more years -causing endless inability to trade in future ….or we do nothing too big and risk losing Barzal etc. That’s not even mentioning the perception that will haunt us if we don’t get big name. We need a small miracle from Lou. A big name at a steal would really help us right now. Prob not happening though. I almost think just sell and rebuild while we can. I’m torn.
