I think this gives us the clearest picture as to why we haven’t tried to trade Muzzin. I guess it’s Robidas Island or nothing for him.

Just send him to the island already. At this point its for his own good, nevermind the team
It’s unfortunate how some players are a magnet for head injuries. Kase can’t escape them, and this doesn’t look great again for Muzzin. Hope he’s okay.
I think Mitch outlines this perfectly. He’s got two young daughters. He has a cup. He’s also unfortunaly not been that good. Let’s ease him into a coaching role like Spezza and keep him around the team.
Put him on LTIR, go out and get someone like Carson Soucy. Leaves Leafs with 2M extra in cap after that.
I love Muzz and everything he’s done for us, but we have to have championship pedigree and he ain’t it anymore

Muzz owes this team and the sport absolutely nothing. Please take the time to evaluate if it’s even safe to return. I love seeing him in the lineup, but not at the cost of his quality of life post-hockey.
I’ve said it since the beginning of the season… He’s going on LTIR and Lilly comes up. Maybe we sign another dman and Holl sits in the press box…
I bet the entire cap issue centers around him being made of glass.

I read this title too fast and thought it said Mitch AND Jake were suffering from neck injuries and got real nervous for a second…
In any case, I really hope Muzz is okay. Seems like he can’t ever get fully healthy before another injury hits and I’d hate to see something more permanent happen to him. We’re the same age and he’s got young kids, at some point you have to evaluate if long-term injury is worth it.
