I remember my folks bought me tickets for Christmas one year and they were someone’s season tickets. Me and my pops would like to go early to try to meet the players and make a day out of it, since we lived 4 hours away. We got in line for what we thought was entry to the game, but was actually a season ticket holder conference hosted by none other than Doug Wilson. We got to sit in this room with maybe 50 people and listen to Doug talk and answer questions for about an hour. He showed me that he wasn’t just the head honcho GM, but rather a genuine, caring man. Thank you Doug for all the memories you’ve helped create and the countless amazing teams you’ve brought us in SJ. Some will blame you for the superstars not succeeding, but you can’t lead a horse to water. You gave us an ocean and it still never drank.
I hope he’s doing ok. Idk what he needed to focus on medically but yeah just hope he’s alright
