I'm going to be in the minority here but I don't think Bruce Cassidy was ever a good coach. He has had good/above average Bruins teams and didn't go very far in the playoffs at all besides 2019. He's had mostly the same core of players yes…but look at how Tampa & Jon Cooper has adapted and changed literally from games 1&2 vs New York versus game 3. Tampa looks like a totally different team. That's all coaching. Glad to see a new voice will be in Boston and I'm clearly not even a Boston fan.

i agree sweeney is the issue but how are you gonna rip him for not drafting an “instant impact player” since mcavoy yet also say he didn’t get enough depth scoring.. your not going to get those guys if those picks are going for hall, coyle, nash, lindholm, the list goes on. it’s the trade off for being good every year your farm suffers

Just became a new subscriber and I'm very proud of those of you in the comment section who stood up for Mr Cassidy he was and is an excellent coach and I'm certain that with his resume of success he will not find Landing a new job very difficult but let me put in my four cents on this the real people that needed to lose their jobs were Don Sweeney and Cam Neely I used to have high regard for mr. Neely until this not only have they proven themselves to be the Amber turds yes turds of the NHL by throwing Mr Cassidy under the bus and making him escape and making him and making him a scapegoat but they're firing him was totally unjustified so there with that being stated take care of Mr Touchei stay safe and careful and here's to looking forward to seeing mr. Cassidy soon in other words hopefully it will not be a long time before we're all blessed with his handsome face again LOL maybe the Bruins will hire John Tortorella who will not miss a heartbeat telling off Neely or Sweeney if they offend him that's what I've always loved about torts he always speaks his mind and you can't buy him so maybe this is what was needed for the so-called management to hire a coach that will tell them off and go f themselves if they step out of line so there
