Great job on explaining the Defensive Role….. so many people are thinking that a D-man should score 15-20 goals a season these days….. that just not the case…. would be great..but……not the case….Still need big D-men in the league ….

Id like to see Jay divide his minutes a little bit better. Hollway has only played 8 minutes in both games. He was a top 6 player in the pre season but has been burried in the regular season and its no surprise he hasnt looked very good. Id like to see him get more ice time so he can actually produce. Either send him down or actually play him. Same with Nuge/Foegele/Mcleod/shore/puljujarvi/yamamoto id like to see them actually get some ice time. Not just mcdavid/draisaitl/hyman/kane playing 24+ minutes. The top guys need to have better legs under them late in games.

The start of this season has been a total 180 of when Woody and his staff came in last year. He spoke of spreading out minutes and relieving the big guns, using depth, giving more guys roles, sound defence, etc. Etc. To now running the piss out of the big guys, sloppy defending in the NZ and DZ, not ready come game time, etc.
Wtf changed coach ?? You have more depth now too. Holloway isn’t playing because NHL rosters are dressed. He’s been a pizza man serving them hot and ready up the middle. Either play him or send him back.
