Love vladi, reason I really started watching the blues again in 13 when he made his debut and scored 2 beauties against Detroit. This past season he looked like he was actually having fun on the ice again and the fans giving him ovations every time he was a star of the game at home I thought he would recall his trade request but he didn't. So with his stock so high right now I think army will do the right thing for the team…
Really like Vladi but he's made it known that he probably isn't sticking around. The blues have offense. They need better defense. Would love to see a trade where we get a good dman. Just a lockdown/quick d guy. I don't want another offensive d guy. Sick of them
I hear you guys mention zadorov. If he is slow, we shouldn't take him. We have to get speed. As cool as the hits look, we can't keep getting beat on speed.
If the Blues get a chance to move Vlad for a worthwhile trade, it has to happens. I've never liked the no trade clauses because the opportunity to trade for value becomes much more limited. However, I think the interest for Vlad is with the teams he's already ok'd for potential trades. I've always been a fan of Vlad but he's not Bluenote anymore.
I would like to see Zadorov in Blues uniform. I don't think the Blues would get hurt on a 4-5 year deal with that Russian bear.
Two contracts that the Blues should've thought through a little better was Krug and Scandella. Krug; I'd like to see the Blues move him, but it's unlikely with that contract and his age. I do believe Krug was playing his best hockey in a Blues uniform midway through the season just before he got hurt, but I don't see him getting better or even returning to 2019 form as his contract goes on. If Perunovich is the future powerplay point man, Krug would be a redundancy the Blues don't need on the Blueline. Or the Blues package Perunovich in a trade deal and keep Krug, I always like the young guys that have shown real promise vs. veterans stars with a bunch of questions marks: like contract value, durability, production etc…. Scandella is over valued at over 3 million, and the biggest problems with Marco's contract is that if the Blues do trade Vlad – wherever he might get traded that team is going to want to offload salary, and the Blues sure could use 3.25 million to offset any incoming salary via trade right about now.
Unlike a lot of Blues fans, I'm leery of making a move for Tkachuk. A lot of players come back to their home team and never live up the expectations. Plus, he's going to be expensive, and the Blues don't want to burn money on one players. They won last year and caused a lot of trouble with their depth in the playoffs too, and you don't do that by investing a lot of cap space in one players.
It's easy to make moves and call shots from a computer keyboard. Besides, my track record lately has been pretty bad in terms of judging personnel; I was suspect of Ryan O'Reilly – then the playoffs happened and then the Captain happened, I joined the trade Binnington movement – mistake; I've always been team Thomas, but I'm starting to lose faith in him. I do believe, however, that Charlie Sideburns should've been the game six starter against the Avs – he gave the Blues their best chance, and teams don't get many legit chances at the Cup.
You don't move Vladi just to move him. You better sure as heck get great value in return and I'm not talking draft picks. A top 2 defenseman would work.
Clearly the Blues need help on left side of the defense, You can't win a championship without a defense. Blues have enough offense but lack defense. I just don't understand why Army won't pull the trigger on at least a top defensemen? You can't keep Leddy at 5 million and he's not the answer you need. Everyone knows the Blues weakness and that's defense. Pull the trigger on a trade and honor Tarasenko's wishes you owe him that!
Krug to Jersey for Graves and a pick. Vladi to Philly for Provorov. Send a pick to Detroit or Chicago to take on Scandella. Resign Perron. Sign a cheap, proven 4C and maybe a backup goalie. Save some cap space for possible trade deadline pick up and set yourself up with enough money to extend guys next offseason

Move Vladdy to Islanders for Scott Mayfield and bring Matthew Tkcachuk home!!!
If Tarasenko would stay, he probably would score 50 goals next year, with Thomas and Buchnevich. That's the only reason I think he should stay.

Please trade krug. He isn't bad, but hes more of an offensive dman. I just don't like the length of the contract.
More jbo type dman and less krug type guys.

Ultimate Strick interview with someone who looooooove to hear himself talk: Jimmy Edmonds.
I would take a first rounder or a decent prospect but no salary coming back
Carolina needs a sniper bad, and they are stocked with Dmen. Army won't move him unless he gets his price, so….
