  1. fucking dumb ass red didnt even call him in the crease at the end when he clearly was. still pisses me off as a kings fan.

  2. Too bad there were no crease replays yet for the tying goal and too bad Marty is a knuckle head.

  3. I've often wondered why Game 1 of this series is ever found on YouTube. Then I remembered. People often forget how badly Gretzky spanked their asses in Game 1.

I just hope someone has the guts to post that Game One. It'd show how Montreal faltered, & throughout it all came back to win four straight. Fucking NHL trying to rewrite history again.

But what I remember most was that the officiating was garbage throughout the series, as were the video replays. Montreal scored six goals throughout the series (including the overtime winners) which shouldn't have been allowed, clearly, but were anyway, LA should've had like 6 very obvious calls against them in game 1 alone (including a vicious cross check from D Charlie Huddy to Patrick Roy, right in front of the referee), & as for the illegal sticks? Most of the players used them at that time (Eric Desjardins being a bad violator of this one).

In the end I feel that with the exception of Gretzky (who was shadowed beautifully in Games 2, 3, 4, & 5 by Guy Carbonneau) & Rob Blake, the LA Kings just ran out of gas, & Montreal jumped on it. They deserved to win, pure & simple.

  4. The Kings didn’t choke. Peter Sellers knew exactly when to call for the measurement, and the mo went to the Habs. Roy took it from there.

  5. Why isn't Game 1 on youtube? Habs fans had it banned? Seems like something they would do.

  6. This was one of my favorite finals.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the Habs win.
    And relieved.

  7. You can feel the butthurt from the Kings commentator. 1:58:53 The replay shows there's no one in the crease, yet he says he has a foot in the crease anyway! Lmao!

  8. Wow, this is a rare treat. A full broadcast of Game 2 from Prime Ticket. I thought, back in 1993, these games were only covered by national affiliates, CBC for Canada, ESPN for the US.

  9. im 8 minutes into this video & i had a good look at mcsorleys stick it looks illigal there

  10. Take a look at Fraser when he is measuring McSorely's stick! He seems to realize that curve on the stick is over the 1/2 inch rule and tries to angle the measuring device so it shows the blade as under the limit but the linesman moves the device to the middle of the blade where it is SUPPOSED to be measured and even to "Helmet Hair" it was obvious the stick was not legal!
"Helmet Hair" didn't want to call this penalty but he HAD to and it turned out to be the turning point in the series and the Cup win for the Habs!

  11. I would encourage anyone living in the States who watched this game to find the CBC broadcast of this same goal, as called by Bob Cole and you tell me which is more exciting lol. Nothing against the man doing the play by play here but just for fun, listen to it and just see the difference. That goes for the OT goal too.

  12. of all the years i watched games in Canadian cities, i've never understood why they always play American music during breaks. you'd think they would want to showcase Canadian artists…..
