I'm not die hard flames fan but I would dare say the flames are better than last year. When you have a team that all your Stars are happy to be there, it will show on the ice. Markstrom,the new johnny hockey, Kadri ,weggar all clearly want to be there and add that to a roster that went from thinking they could compete to 1 month ago expecting to literally maybe be in the talks for the lottery to THIS ROSTER. The stars lack one thing to be in the top 5. A top 10 D.

Never thought Islanders made sense & really didn't make sense from Kadri's camp to sign & then keep it a secret for weeks. If he signed his agent would leak ASAP to force team to announce to avoid any backing out from the team. Looks like it was more media driven rumors based on them being in contention to get Kadri, but assumption it was "done deal" was clearly overblown.
