As a huge Canucks fan I am extremely dissapointed lol. Like this road trip has been a joke and there is times when we were good and bad but we always lose. I do think it will turn around once we get to home games. But I am really happy that Pettersson is really looking like his old self

Always knew they had it in them
As a Canucks fan, I’m not even disappointed at this point. I’m just interested to see how bad it will get. If it gets bad enough things will start to get very exciting, and I’d rather them be terrible and actually make changes instead of play mediocre and convince themselves that everything is ok.
Ive been saying this for the past 2 seasons, the Canucks have been overperforming and they put their chips in too early. Demko has been single handedly carrying the team. Seems like they are finally coming back down to earth.
Pettersson seems to be the only cornerstone piece. Boesser is a middle 6 guy/injury prone, Millers production isnt sustainable, Horvat is now the 3rd line C, OEL is declining fast, Myers is a pilon, Hughes cant play defence, 3rd line d pairing are 7th dmen at best and they have 1 potential prospect that could play top line minutes.
Unless a miracle happens, be prepared for another retool/rebuild befor becoming contenders.

As a lifelong Canuck fan this is rough. This is very rough. Players only meetings after 3 games to start the season? That's nuts. They seem incapable of defending.
So glad we signed Miller for 8 years instead of trading him when his value was through the roof. So glad this is such a well run franchise. Looking forward to Bo walking.
Big Canucks fan and have been for years. There are several problems with the team right now. The main problem is, obviously, defense. Our top defenseman is a winger playing defense. All 5 of our defense, besides him, are 3rd liners.
Another problem they have is that we relie too much on young players. We need more veterans on the team.
They need to actually start showing up in the third period. After 2 periods it seems like the team is exhausted as all hell
And lastly, Tyler Meyers contract.
Ive been looking forward to when OhNyquist would make a Canucks specific video, but this is not how I wanted it to happen lmao
as a nucks fan, it's just how the canucks roll. they always find a way to not get easy wins. pettersson has looked amazing on both ends of the ice and boeser has done fairly well, and a big surprise to fans to start the year has been kyle burroughs, easily one of the better defenders to start the szn for us. for me personally, idk y miller is considered a 2 way player when he puts 0 effort into defending, and especially with the kind of start we've had, all his defensive flaws are being exposed
This and maple leafs loosing every game against Arizona/Phoenix at home for 20 years in a row is the chaotic energy I thrive on
